What we do
All aspects of plastering
From a tired kitchen wall to a whole room boarded and skimmed, the aim is always the same: a flat, clean finish that's ready for paint or tiles.
All aspects of plastering
Plastering solutions for homes and businesses in Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket and the surrounding areas, from a single wall to whole rooms.
Reskimming walls
Kitchen walls looking tired? We reskim them smooth, ready for paint or tiling, and looking brand new.
Boarding and skimming whole rooms
Full rooms boarded and skimmed for a smooth, clean finish. It makes a massive difference once everything's freshened up.
Plastering over Artex
Dated Artex ceilings and walls skimmed over, so the textured swirls are gone and you're left with a flat, modern finish.
Ceiling repairs and re-plastering
Ceilings damaged by water leaks repaired and re-plastered, so the patch disappears into a smooth finish.
Inglenooks and fireplaces
Fireplaces and inglenooks stripped back to the brick, rendered inside, back-boarded against damp and finished with curved beads.
Domestic and commercial
We take on domestic and commercial work, and every job starts with a free, no obligation quote.
Artex covering
Goodbye, swirly ceilings.
We skim straight over old Artex, on ceilings and walls, so the room feels lighter, cleaner and up to date. Living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, damaged ceilings included.
“What was once a damaged ceiling covered with hideous Artex from the 90s is now as smooth as smooth can be!”
Before and after
From bare board to a finished chimney breast
A boxed-in chimney breast, boarded and then skimmed. Same wall, same corner, before and after the plaster went on.
Boarded
SkimmedOlder homes
Inglenooks, arches and old brick
We've stripped inglenooks back to the bare brick, rendered the inside, film back-boarded the outside to protect against damp and set curved beads so the edges come out crisp. Stone arches and oak beams stay the star of the room, with clean plaster all around them.

We had water damage to the ceiling in our kitchen. Charlie came around to repair and re-plaster. He is masterful at his craft and the finish was amazing. What was once a damaged ceiling covered with hideous Artex from the 90s is now as smooth as smooth can be!
I had a great experience with Charlie. He did a nice job covering the artex in my living room/dinning room and bathroom . The work was completed quickly and efficiently, and I was impressed with the attention to detail. The finish looks fantastic, and he left the space clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a reliable plasterer! Thank you - Monika
We are thrilled with our newly plastered ceilings. They worked extremely carefully, were tidy and thoughtful. We are delighted with the smooth clean finish, it transforms each room immensely. We will be using him again for other plastering works and we can’t wait! A massive thank you to Charlie & his team
Premium plasterer: I initially hired Charlie after many poor experiences with other contractors. I found him on google at first. However, I now consider Charlie a mate because he is a cracking guy to know regardless of the job. Top Tip: Stick Led Zeppelin on Vinyl and feed him good grub and he'll just keep on plastering until his better half tells him to go home. 👍
